thanks a bunch

While we were away my new cartridge (Walk in my garden) arrived, and this is my first attempt. I really like the "card"feature, which I have used here to cut the sentiment, and then added some tulips cut with the border feature. I like it, but I think perhaps it looks a little plain?

Been away to London !!

We had a great time, seeing all the sites, but I did miss my Cricut!!

A Spoonful of sugar challenge

I wouldn't normally use so many different types of patterned paper, so this really did challenge me. The "ric-rac" strips were cut from Plantin schoolbook. The stamp is one I've had for ages, and I embossed it with black sparkle embossing powder. I always struggle to know how to add text, and wish I had better handwriting...I must try computer-generated text...watch this space!! The text is continued inside the card to say "are in the pink".

Papertake challenge - hearts and flowers

I think I love all of the paper that DCWV make. This is from the Blossoms and Butterflies stack. The large hearts were cut from Plantin Schoolbook, and the small heart "tag" from Fabulous Finds.

cupcake craft challenge

This challenge was to use certain colours (Stampin' Up colours, or close matches to them. )The frame on this card was cut from Home accents, and both the butterflies and the embossing were done on the cuttlebug.

Thank-you card

This is a criss-cross card...you can see the insert to the right of the actual card. The text is from the Don Juan cartridge, and the flower from Joys of the Season.

Charisma cards challenge

The theme here is black and white with one other colour. This is from the wild card cartridge, with the ladybird from Doodlecharms.

The secret crafter challenge

This week's theme is zoo animals, which gives me the perfect opportunity to use my all-time favourite stamp...hope you like it too!

Wild day at Studland

Today we wrapped up and went for a walk at Studland beach...it was soooo cold!!!!

Happy Easter

I was inspired to make this card by the instructions on the"Split Coast Stampers " site. The only cricut is the layered flower (from Accent Essentials) which holds the card closed.
