Hello Hannah

A colleague asked me to make a card for her friends daughter who is just 4 and has been diagnosed with leukaemia. She asked that it was bright and cheerful and included a teddy. I cut the bear from the "Christmas" cartridge.

Christmas heart.....

I am hoping to hold a fundraising coffee morning for Macmillan at the end of this month, and thought I would make a few things to sell to increase the funds. I cut the heart from "Gypsy Wanderings", and the stamp (as ever!) is by Penny Black. I plan to enter it into the Penny Black Saturday challenge here; http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/penny-black-saturday-september-challenge.html

Birthday Bear

A friend of mine asked me to make a first birthday card with a bear on it. The Christmas cartridge has just the bear!! The font is from the Nursery Rhymes cartridge, and the balloon (so useful!) is from Pooh and Friends. I raised the bear and ballooon on foam pads, and added a little white gel pen for dimension.

Ho-Ho-Ho & Let it snow

I have really started to enjoy welding the elements of the card toether in Design Studio, and then layering it up with regular cuts. Here, the tree and Santa are from Doodlecharms, and the snowman is from Stretch Your Imagination. All of the lettering is from Plantin Schoolbook. The snowflakes are from Christmas and Speaking of Winter.

let it snow

Having made this card I'm not sure that it was the best choice of colours!! Surely snowy things should be blue & white? ...oh well!!!

The baubles are cut from the Christmas Solutions cartridge, and then layered up on foam pads. The stamps are new ones by "Papermania", and I'm really pleased with them!

Peace...

I love this church from the Christmas Solutions cartridge. The trees are also from there. I cut the frame for the sentiment from A Child's Year. The stamp is a new one from a set by "Inkadinkado". I embossed the snow and the sky on the cuttlebug, and added some stickles. The whole thing is layered up on foam pads for dimension.

The left hand one is a tree cut from Christmas Solutions, on a background embossed on the cuttlebug. The other two are using my new poppy stamp (who says poppies have to be red?!!)

Snowman from "A Child's Year"

I love this snowman so much!!I embossed him using the swiss dots folder, and cut his shadow in holographic card. The extra snowflakes are cut from Christmas Solutions. I used a small punch to cut out lots of snowflakes around the edges of the patterned paper.

I was inspired by a number of beautiful cards that I have seen on the Cricut message boards recently. It is all cut from the Christmas Solutions cartridge. The ground is embossed with the cuttlebug "Divine swirls" folder. The trees are sprinkled with a mixture of "Flower Soft" and fine glitter.
