A bright birthday!!

Very simple...embossing with the cuttlebug "Happy Birthday" folder, and a hat cut from Doodlecharms.

This is such a useful card shape. I used one of the new "Bubble and Squeak" stamps, and embossed it in copper. Luckily I had just the right piece of gingham ribbon for the bow!!

Doodlecharms dog

I just love this dog...and the lovely new dog paper from "Papermania". I tried my hand at doodling around the edge for the first time, and am fairly happy with the result.

Woof

This is for my dog to send to my friend Ruth who will be 50 soon. She has an elderly collie who she idolises, and has even customised a pushchair to push the dog in when it's arthritis gets too bad (she refers to it as the "collie trolley"!!)

The stamp is one of the new "Daisy & Dandelion" ones, and the "woof" is cut from Paper pups.

Happy Mother's Day, from the dog!!

My mum and my dog are the best of friends, so it's only right the dog sends a card!!

The bee and the flowers were cut from Walk in My Garden, and the dog is one of the new "Daisy & Dandelion" stamps.

Mother's Day

I was inspired to make this by a picture in a magazine. The daffodils are cut from Walk in My Garden, and placed on a background embossed on the cuttlebug. I welded "mum" in Design Studio from Opposites attract, and cut the frame behind it from Accent Essentials.

Happy Easter

Using the same technique as the thankyou card from Opposites Attract. I welded the word "Easter" in Design Studio, and then welded it's shadow....I can imagine so many uses for this technique...watch this space!!!

I really like this design, and have to confess that it it is the project from the "Opposites attract" manual....I would so like to be clever enough to come up with such lovely designs!!!

Two birthday cards

I just love these new "scalloped" cards by Papermania. These are both cards for friends who have their birthdays next week. The dog is from paper pups, with a hat from doodlecharmss. The cake is from doodlecharms. Both the cake and the dog are raised on foam pads.
