Baby

This is for a friend of mine who leaves work to start her maternity leave next week. She knows that she is having a boy, but as it is not a birth congrats card, I wanted to keep it "general". I cut everything from Doodlecharms, and chalked the items and raised them on foam pads to give a bit of dimension.

Polkadoodles challenge

I made this card for my friend's dog (yes really!). My friend Ruth took her 14 year old Border Collie, Belle, to a dog show yesterday, and Belle came first in the veteran class! Ruth was so excited, she left a lengthy message on our answerphone, all about Belle barking at the Rotweiller who was next to her in the ring etc etc. I couldn't resist making a card, and thought I would combine it with this new challenge!!

I cut the "Best" "Show Dog" and the rosette from Paper Pups.

10

This is for my nephew who will be 10 in a few weeks. The numbers and stars are from Plantin Schoolbook. I cut the candle by hand.

Good Luck wordbook

I made this for a colleague of mine who is retiring next month. It relates to some funny things that have happened while we have worked together. I welded the letters in Design Studio, from Plantin Schoolbook. The embellishments, are from Animal Kingdom, Paper Doll Dress Up, Zooballoo, and speaking of Winter. I used my Bind-it-All for the very first time to bind it all together. It took ages, but I'm really pleased with it, and I think he'll love it!

DAD...the aspiring artist!!!

I made this card for Father's Day. My Dad has always been keen to have a go at painting, and as he and I have signed up for an all-day lesson just before Father's Day, I couldn't resist making him this card!!

Civil Partnership

A friend asked me to make this card for two male friends of hers. She liked the idea of the two grooms, so I just hope the couple it is intended for do as well!! They are both cut from Paper Doll Dress Up, with embossing on the cuttlebug.
