Snowy village

I was inspired by a number of beautiful cards that I have seen on the Cricut message boards recently. It is all cut from the Christmas Solutions cartridge. The ground is embossed with the cuttlebug "Divine swirls" folder. The trees are sprinkled with a mixture of "Flower Soft" and fine glitter.

More lovely Ollyphant stamps!!

I love these stamps. With this one I tried really hard to match the colours to the paper I was using. I'm fairly pleased with the result.

Baby Girl

Each time I make a card I try to add some embellishments, rather than just the cut items. It seems to get easier, and I am pleased with the button and ribbons on this one. The image is cut from New Arrival.

Yet more new stamps

This is the first time I have tried anything like this, and I'm really pleased with it!!. I repeated the stamp several times across the card, and then coloured the sky and the shadows with a wet brush and Whispers pens...I can feel a few more of these coming on!!!

New Stamps...Happy Birthday Auntie Betty!!!

I was lucky enough to go to a demonstration of Hobby Art stamps by Jenny Meyes today. She had made some fantastic cards, and I just had to buy these ( and some more as well!). They are stamped with Whispers pens on glossy card, and matted onto some of the DCWV "Old World" stack.

90th Birthday

A friend of mine asked me to make this for a man who will soon be 90. I really don't know if it is easiest to make cards for people you don't know, or people that you do!!!

Anyway I came up with this, and I hope it will be ok!

The sentiment is from Beyond Birthdays, the numbers are from Plantin Schoolbook, and I cut the bottle from one of the Wildcards.
