Thanks for the apples

A colleague at work kindly gave me loads of apples from the tree in her garden, and I was inspired to make this card (any excuse really!)
I cut the basket and apples from Pooh & Friends, and the sentiment from Opposites attract.
Perhaps she'll give me some more apples!!

Good Luck

I made these cards for a couple of colleagues who are leaving soon. I cut the tulips and the pot from Walk in My Garden.

Instructions for pop-up cards...

I had several nice comments about my pop-up cards, and a few requests to share the instructions, so here goes:

1. I used a five inch square card, and decorated the "upper" side with patterned paper , and the "lower" side with a stamped greeting.

2. I cut a strip of card 4.5 inches long, and scored and folded at 1", "2, 3" and 4" (see above)

3. I overlapped the half inch section and glued it  to form a square (see above)

4. Finally I glued that square into the fold of the card, and stuck the cup-cake (but of course it could be anything ) to the third side.

They are so easy to make, but so effective. I hope these instructions help...I'd love to see what you make!

Sorry I forgot...

This is for someone whose birthday I missed....I'm toying with a sentiment along the lines of; "Sorry I turtally forgot"!!
The turtle and the plant are both from Pooh and Friends, and I welded them together in Design Studio.

More pop-up cards!!!

I really think I am in danger of becoming addictted to these pop-up cards!! The 18 is cut from Plantin Schoolbook, and the cake from Doodlecharms. The paper is some lovely stuff that my friend Lynne gave me....thank you Lynne!!
