I made this card for my husband from our springer spaniel (what a perfect stamp!)

Decorated envelopes
I bought presents for both my mum and my husband that fit inside envelopes (can't say what they are in case they are reading this!), so I thought I would decorate the envelopes with some of my favourite Penny Black stamps!

Night Garden Christmas
A colleague asked me to make a card for her young son who is a big fan of the children's programme "In the Night Garden". Apparently this character is his favourite!!
Quick Christmas card
I needed to make a number of Christmas cards for colleagues in double quick time. I settled for this lovely Penny Black stamp, which needs minimal colouring....so simple!!

Christmas gift boxes
I was inspired to make these boxes by something I saw on Pinterest. The original blog post can be found here; http://jayne-designs.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/snowman-treat-boxes.html
I didn't realise for a while that Jayne had send a different box from the "Tags,Bags,Boxes and more" cartridge, and I really do prefer the shape she used.....oh we'll, at least I know for next time!!

Get well soon.....
A colleague of mine is off work to have a hernia repair (and we just haven't heard the end of it!). I made this card very quickly with a lovely Penny Black stamp, and the sentiment just seemed to go with it so well!!

Happy Birthday mum...from the dog!!
And this card was commissioned by our dog. The stamp is a Wild Rose one, and I couldn't resist it as it looks just like our springer spaniel!
Happy Birthday mum
It is my mum's birthday next Sunday, and she just loves these Penny Black hedgehogs. It is a significant birthday, bug I knew that she would never forgive me if I put her age on it !
Happy Anniversary
It was my wedding anniversary earlier this month and I made this quick card with a Hobby Art stamp for my husband.
Happy Birthday Father-in-law!!
I just love this Penny Black stamp, and it just perfect for my father-in-law who is a real dog lover!

Santa card (inspired by Pinterest!)
I saw this card on Pinterest and just had to make some. It is so effective, and so easy....just what I like!! The original can be found here; http://onehappystamper.typepad.com/stamping_inspirations_wit/2010/10/santa-card-with-instructions.html
Just for You....
My manager is leaving next week, and she has been really good to me over the years that I have known her. I was inspired to make this by a card I saw on Pinterest. I cut the pot from "Walk in my Garden", and the flowers from "Serenade".

Inspired by Pinterest...
I have discovered "Pinterest" today (if you haven't, then what are you waiting for?!). I was inspired to make a card with apertures, and I used the "Doodlecharms" cartridge to make this.

Good bye and....
We have had an agency social worker with our team for the last few months, and everyone has grown to really like him. Our office is next door to the railway line, and this chap has never got used to the trains sounding their horns ( somehow I think they are something more sophisticated than horns but I can't think what else to call them!!). Each time we have a team meeting it is everyone's greatest delight to watch him leap about a foot in the air each time a train goes by! So....a card with a train on seemed the most appropriate thing to make! The train is cut from the "New Arrival" cartridge.

Christmas heart.....
I am hoping to hold a fundraising coffee morning for Macmillan at the end of this month, and thought I would make a few things to sell to increase the funds. I cut the heart from "Gypsy Wanderings", and the stamp (as ever!) is by Penny Black. I plan to enter it into the Penny Black Saturday challenge here; http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/penny-black-saturday-september-challenge.html

A couple of cards....
We are having a bit of a change around at work....I am moving to a different office, and a colleague that is based there is moving to the office that I am leaving (purely coincidence, we do completely different jobs!) So.... I needed to make a "Good Luck" card for her, and a "thank you for my leaving gifts" card for the team that I am leaving. As ever, I used a lovely Penny Black stamp!!

Especially for you...
I made this card (completely inspired by this wonderful work http://michellelast.typepad.co.uk/my_weblog/2009/11/little-birdy-card.html), using a new "Stampin Up" stamp called "Queue Up". It is for a lady who is in the same hospital ward as my mum. She has lots of problems with her health, but is always cheerful and has been really good company for my mum. They have exchanged addresses, so I hope that I will be able to take mum to visit her as soon as they have both recovered!

Congratulations Laura!
I made this for my colleague Laura who has just become a British citizen ( she told me after I had been teasing her about the poor performance of her home country Argentina in the Olympics!) I used two stamps from the Penny Black London set (although I did trim the mouse and the hedgehog away from the bunting), and so I am entering it into the Penny Black challenge "Double Trouble" here http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/

I just love this "Funstamps" bear...I already have him playing golf, playing football and driving a car (not all at the same time you understand!), and now I have this stamp!

Sympathy card
These are never nice cards to make, and I always feel that I struggle to make them solemn enough. For this one I used the inkadinkado "patterned bugs" stamp set, and heat embossed and layered some of the butterflies for dimension.

Thank you
I made this card for my mother and father in law who invited myself, my husband and my parents to their house for dinner today. They live in Weymouth, overlooking the bay, which is the venue for the Olympic sailing events. We spent the afternoon looking at the tv to see what was happening and then using binoculars to watch it for real! It was great fun!
Anyway this card uses a lovely Penny Black stamp called "Pansy bunny", and was inspired by a card that I saw on the Penny Black blog. I have only recently realised that if you use Google images to search for the stamp you want to use, you can easily get loads of wonderful inspiration!

Christmas cards
I was having a look around the world of blogs and was inspired by "Mrs B" (http://mrsbscraftroom.blogspot.co.uk/)to make these Christmas cards. The mat is cut from Storybook, and the baubles from Joys of the Season and Christmas Cheer (I think !)

I made this card for our dog to give to the person who used to be his owner, who is moving away to a new job (yes really!). The stamp is a lovely Penny Black.

Leaving us sucks!!!!
I made this for our team manger who leaves us for a new job closer to home next week. He has been with us for three years, and has been great. I shall really miss him, so one of these seemed appropriate!

Bee better soon....
I made this card for my mum who has just gone back into hospital....I really wish I had thought to put "bee better soon" on the front, but I had to content myself with writing it inside! I am entering it into the Penny Black "summer" challenge here; http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/penny-black-saturday-july-challenge.html
Thanks....
I made this card to thank a specialist nurse at Dorchester hospital who has been really kind and helpful to my mum lately. The stamp is a lovely Penny Black, and I am entering the card into the Penny Black challenge here; http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/penny-black-saturday-july-challenge.html The theme of the challenge is "summer".

White on White....
This is for the Winter Wonderland challenge here ; http://christmasblogchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ where the theme is "White on White". I used a new embossing folder teamed with a Francoise Read stamp.
Summer...
I made this card for the Penny Black Saturday challenge here ; http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/penny-black-saturday-july-challenge.html
(and also to give to my aunt for her birthday !). The stamp is obviously by Penny Black, and the sentiment is a Fiskars stamp.
