Sophie Louise

A friend of mine asked me to make a card for her new granddaughter. The stamp is a lovely "Penny Black".

Well Done

I was asked to make this card for a newly qualified worker with our team. Apparently he was told that his assignment was one of the best the examiner had seen! Well done Jamie!
The star was cut from Plantin Schoolbook and the lettering is from Mickey Font.

Loads of luck

This is for our team manager who is leaving us at the end of July. The truck is a "Stampin Up" stamp, and I cut the cats, the horseshoes and the lettering with my Cricut. He has proved to be a great manager, and I think we will all be sorry to see him go.

An inspired card....

A friend of mine asked me to make a "pretty" card for an elderly relative. I already had flowers in mind, but when I saw this card ; http://kath-allthatglitter.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/penny-black-saturday-challengeweek-206.html I was inspired to use the circular design.

Goodbye (another!)

We are losing another locum social worker at the end of this month. I don't like having people around for just a short time because it is horrible saying goodbye to them! Anyway, here is another goodbye card, this time with a lovely Penny Black stamp.

Purple cow !!!

This card is for my friend Suzanne who will soon be 50. She is having a purple-themed birthday party (inspired by the poem "When I am an old woman I shall wear purple"). I plan to print the poem "I never saw a purple cow" to put inside! The stamp is the lovely Ms. Fastidious by Penny Black.

Fathers Day cards

I make three Fathers day cards each year. One for my father, one for my father-in-law, and one for my husband's stepfather. This year I have used a lovely Penny Black stamp.

Jubilee card

We are having a Jubilee get-together with my parents tomorrow, so I made them this quick card using the Penny Black "London" stamps.

Thirteen

This is for my husband's nephew...inspired by the words on the "Graphically Speaking" cartridge. I used my Gypsy to weld the letters from Plantin Schoolbook. As it is Jubilee weekend, red, white and blue seemed appropriate!
