An unashamed scrap lift!!!

I needed to make a graduation card, and and bought the Penny Black "A Scholar" stamp especially. I had a look around in blog land, and was completely blown away by a card I found here;

Although I have changed it very slightly, it looked so good in it's original form, I followed I very closely!!

Happy Birthday Mum....

It's my mum's birthday next week, and she loves Penny Black stamps....particularly the hedgehogs, so this image seemed ideal!

Happy Birthday Granny....

A colleague at work asked me to make a card for her "Granny", who will soon be 80. She said that she wanted a pretty card with ribbon and lace, so this is what I have come up with. I cut the roses from "Freshly Picked". I just hope that granny likes it!!

Birthday Wishes

A friend asked me to make a "sensible" birthday card for her sister-in-law, so this stamp by Hobby Art seemed to fit the bill. The sentiment is by Stampin Up, and I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the lace effect.

Good Luck....again!!!

And now another two people are leaving our team....soon there will just be me, and I can hardly make my own leaving card can I ???!!!
Anyhow, I am running out of inspiration, so decided to make the last two cards variations on a theme!
Another lovely Penny Black stamp, a bit of Bakers Twine and there you have them!!

And another....

Goodbye and Good luck card that is! This one is for a colleague with a very sweet tooth, so this Penny Black image seemed perfect!

Goodbye and Good Luck

Another goodbye card for a colleague who s leaving our team soon. I used this lovely Stamposaurus stamp for the first time, and I'm really pleased with the result! The layout is inspired by one of Debby's lovely Penny Black cards. She can be found at; http://debby4000.blogspot.co.uk/

Thank You....

A colleague asked me to make a seaside themed thank you card, and this is what I have come up with. The lighthouse and seagulls are cut from "Life is a Beach", and the sentiment is from "Beyond Birthdays".
