Card for a golfing fan

A friend at work asked me to make a card for her father with a golf theme. I had a look on Pinterest and found a great card by Robin (the original is at http://robinscreativecottage.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/for-dad-golf-cart-fantabulous-Cricut.html )

I thought it was so great that I created something very similar. All of the items are cut from "Everyday Paper Dolls"

Another item for the baby shower! I cut the flowers and hearts from "Doodlecharms"and the baby from "Everyday Paperdolls".

This is for my friend and colleague who won an award for "Partnership Working". The award was presented at a posh ceremony this week, and when asked to say a few words, apparently said that the only thing she had won before was a kitchen tray!!

The stamp is a lovely Penny Black, and I cut the clouds from "Everyday Paper Dolls", and the grass from "Plantin Schoolbook".

A friend asked me to make an 18th birthday card for a young man who is interested in astronomy. This is what I came up with. The planet is cut from "Everyday Paper Dolls", and the lettering from "Plantin Schoolbook".

I made this card to thank the hospital staff who have taken such good care of my mum. I cut the characters from "Everyday Paper Dolls" and dressed them to represent the staff we have met. We still don't have a date for mum coming home, but are hopeful that it might be later this week!

A colleague of mine asked me to make a birthday card for her husband who is into extreme sports, especially snowboarding...well this is the closest I could get! I "Googled" an image of ski slopes and then printed it to use as the background. The figure is from "Everyday Paper Dolls".

Out of this world...

A friend asked me to make a card for her grandaughter who is very interested in the solar system. I cut the planets and rocket from "Everyday Paper Dolls".

Welcome Dax..............

A friend of mine asked me to make a card for her grandson Kai to give to his new baby brother Dax. I used Everyday Paperdolls to cut the baby and Plantin Schoolbook for the lettering. I couldn't resist adding the Molly Bloom stamp inside to represent Kai!

Congratulations......

A colleague of mine is expecting her first baby any day now, and as I won't have much time for card making later in the week, I decided to be prepared for all eventualities! I cut the baby from Everyday Paper Dolls, and mounted it with foam pads on an oval cut from Plantin Schoolbook. Now we just have to await the arrival!!

Jungle mirror....to match the card.....

Having made a card for Jo (see post below), I decided to go on and decorate a mirror with the same animals, I added the grass and vine from Zooballoo.

Someone that I work with is due to go on maternity leave soon, and as she is having a jungle theme for the nursery I couldn't resisit making this card. The animals are from Everyday Paper Dolls, and the font is from Opposites Attract.

First Gypsy card

After lots of deliberations, I finally gave in and bought a Gypsy....and I love it!!! This is my first card made with it....for a challenge on the Cricut messageboard.

Monkey is from Everyday Paper Dolls, branch is from Zooballoo, and heart is from Plantin Schoolbook.

Card for a rugby fan

I was asked to make this card for a fan of our local rugby team. I usesd Everyday paper Dolls, and "doctored" the shirt to make it look like their kit! The greeting is from beyond Birthdays, and the numbers from Plantin Schoolbook.

feelin' rrruff?

This for a friend who recently had a nasty car accident. Apparently he had to be cut from the car, but luckily sustained only a few fractured ribs and a fractured sternum. I cut the dog from Everyday Paper Dolls, and added some white ribbon around his leg to look like a bandage!! The font is Plantin Schoolbook.

Dog of the Day!!

My friend Ruth took her 16 year old Border Collie to a dog show organised and judged by Martin Clunes yesterday. (He lives near us, and organises a similar event on his land each year to raise money for local charities-this year it was the hospice.) Anyway, Ruth entered Belle in the "Dog of the Day" class, and she came 1st!!! Belle won a silver cup, a pink rosette, and a sack of dog food. Ruth was so happy she cried and made her mascara run!! I made this card for Belle to celebrate her win! The dog and the trophy are cut from Everyday Paper Dolls, the lettering is from Opposites Attract, and the rosette is from Plantin Schoolbook.
