My friend's daughter will be 40 on Thursday, and she loves Winnie the Pooh! I used my "Pooh and Friends" cartridge to make this card for her.

Buddy
My friend Audrey asked me to make a christening card for her grandson. She said that he is very bouncy, so anything with "tigger" on would be perfect. I took her at her word, and used the "Pooh & Friends" cartridge to cut the tigger for this card!

Happy Birthday Eden
A colleague of mine asked me to make a card for her nephew who loves dinosaurs. I cut this one from "Paper Doll Dress Up" and layered it in different colours to give some dimension. A balloon always seems to be a good way to add the age for a young child. I cut this one from "Pooh and Friends".

Birthday Bear
A friend of mine asked me to make a first birthday card with a bear on it. The Christmas cartridge has just the bear!! The font is from the Nursery Rhymes cartridge, and the balloon (so useful!) is from Pooh and Friends. I raised the bear and ballooon on foam pads, and added a little white gel pen for dimension.

A nautical theme
Kai's great-grandmother asked me to make a card with a nautical theme for his first birthday, and this is what I came up with. The boat is from New Arrival, the fish from Life's A Beach, the waves from Zooballoo, the font from Plantin Schoolbook, and the sun from Pooh and Friends...phew!!!

Happy 70th
A friend asked me to make a card for her dad who will be 70. I asked what he liked, and she said "ducks"! After a lot of thought I came up with this. The duck is from Animal Kingdom. the balloon is from Pooh and Friends, and the sentiment is from Beyond Birthdays.

Thanks for the apples
A colleague at work kindly gave me loads of apples from the tree in her garden, and I was inspired to make this card (any excuse really!)
I cut the basket and apples from Pooh & Friends, and the sentiment from Opposites attract.
Perhaps she'll give me some more apples!!

Sorry I forgot...
This is for someone whose birthday I missed....I'm toying with a sentiment along the lines of; "Sorry I turtally forgot"!!
The turtle and the plant are both from Pooh and Friends, and I welded them together in Design Studio.

Happy Birthday...from the dog!!
It is my husband's birthday next week, and the dog gave me careful instructions to make this card!!!
The dog is cut from Paper Pups, and the balloon is from Pooh and Friends. I used the cuttlebug birthday folder to emboss the background, and then used a brown inkpad to bring out the detail. The dog thinks it looks ok!!!!

And another turtle!!!
I was so pleased with the last turtle ( and my mum kept going on about how much she liked it), that I decided to make another, and this time to try to make it look like a boy turtle!! Again everything is cut from Pooh & Friends, and welded together in Design Studio. A bit more of the good old white gel pen for doodling and he is done!!
