New hobby art stamp

A friend asked me to make a new baby card, and this new stamp by Hobby Art seemed perfect (I only bought it today). Although the baby is apparently going to be a girl I made one for a boy.....just in case!!

Every year I vow that I will start making Christmas cards straight after Christmas....and here we are at the beginning of June, and I have only just started! This is a lovely Hobby Art stamp.

Sympathy card

Having rushed to make four 21st birthday cards, I had to turn my thoughts to the more sobering subject of a sympathy card. I used a lovely Hobby Art stamp for this one.

Happy Bearthday Dad!

This card is made with the wonderful bear stamps made by the equally wonderful Jenny Mayes, and inspired by a card on her blog.

Wreath card...

Another lovely Penny Black stamp, and once again I have layered it up! The background is from  the "Holly Ribbons" cuttlebug folder, and the sentiment is a Hobby Art stamp.

Plain and simple.....

I made this card for a colleague who has had a bereavement. It is a Hobby Art stamp which I stamped twice and decoupaged the flowers.

Happy Fathers Day

I decided to try a twisted easel card for my Fathers day card this year. The stamps are the Hobby Art hillside set, and I painted them with Brilliance inks used as watercolours. I am also entering it for the Paper Sundaes challenge here http://papersundaes.blogspot.com/2011/05/paper-sundaes-challenge-70-pop-it-up_22.html

Love these penguins....

These are a new stamp from "Hobby Art". The top is punched with a Martha Stewart punch, and the silver has been embossed on the cuttlebug.

Introducing...Design Runner!!!

Another new toy I'm afraid. I used it to print the bubbles, which I teamed with another lovely stamp from Hobby Art. (Iadded the blue after printing to make them look a bit more....well....bubbly I suppose!!

With Bunches of love....

The stamp is a new one from Hobby Art, and I thought it went well with the floral paper, which seemed like it should be part of a patchwork...so...I added some fake stitches to add to the effect. I am pleased with the flowers, which I cut at a variety of sizes and layered up. They are from Accent Essentials. Although you can barely see it, they are stuck around a leafy branch, which is from Beyond Birthdays.

Yet more new stamps

This is the first time I have tried anything like this, and I'm really pleased with it!!. I repeated the stamp several times across the card, and then coloured the sky and the shadows with a wet brush and Whispers pens...I can feel a few more of these coming on!!!

New Stamps...Happy Birthday Auntie Betty!!!

I was lucky enough to go to a demonstration of Hobby Art stamps by Jenny Meyes today. She had made some fantastic cards, and I just had to buy these ( and some more as well!). They are stamped with Whispers pens on glossy card, and matted onto some of the DCWV "Old World" stack.
