Well Done

I was asked to make this card for a newly qualified worker with our team. Apparently he was told that his assignment was one of the best the examiner had seen! Well done Jamie!
The star was cut from Plantin Schoolbook and the lettering is from Mickey Font.

50 sucks!!!

I have long admired the lovely lollipop bouquets that I have seen on the Cricut messageboard, and finally I have had the opportunity to make one. A friend of my husband's has just been 50, and we are going to his party on Friday.

I bought a large pot from the garden centre and filled it with oasis. I covered this with foil, and then used a skewer to make 50 holes, into which I pushed the assortment of lollies. I cut the "50" and "sucks" from Mickey Font, and then decorated the band with a greeting from A Child's Year, and lots more lollies cut from Doodlecharms.

Now I just need someone else to have a significant birthday so I can make another!!!

Accordian cards

These are so simple to make!! All of the letters are cut from Mickey font. The baby bottle is from doodlecharms, and the house is from Christmas Cheer. I put a square of patterned paper on the back and front, with some ribbon stuck under the back piece to wrap around and tie in a bow.

Happy 80th

I was inspired by a wonderful stair-step card on the cricut message board (thankyou "glitterwhore"), and made this for my uncle who will be 80 in a couple of weeks. Everything has a black shadow to make it really stand out. Items are cut from Doodlecharms, Christmas Cheer, Mickey font and Zooballoo.
