Welcome Home bunting.....

My mum is in hospital at the moment, and I have made this bunting in anticipation of her coming home (although we don't have a date yet!!). The pennants are cut from "Birthday Bash" and the lettering from "Nursery Rhymes". (My next project is a card for the staff who have been looking after her....watch this space!!).

The Young Ones....

This week's Penny Black Challenge here; http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/  is to make a card for a child. well, as it happens, my friend Diane had asked me to make a card for her grandson who will be 13 next month, so I decided to combine the two. (Well, I think that 13 is still a child......). I used the Penny Black stamp "Sentiments", and for quite a while, just couldn't think how to include his age....and then inspiration struck...a few spare envelopes!! Apparently Nathan loves his black and white cat, so hopefully he'll love this card too!
