Good Luck in your new home....

My husband's friend is moving away next week, and he asked me to make a new home card for her and her family. As I am currently exploring the "Create a Critter" cartridge, I decided to use this lovely little house from that.

It is my brother-in-law's birthday next week, and as he is a dog lover I wanted to make a card featuring a dog. I only had about an hour to make the card, and sometimes I really think I do better with less time as I get on with the job rather than prevaricating and constantly changing my mind!! Anyhow, I made this shaped card entirely from the "Create a Critter" cartridge.

My cousin and her husband came to visit last Sunday and took us out for lunch. I made this card (using a lovely Penny Black stamp) to send to thank them.

Create a card die

Oh dear.......new dies rather seem to be a bit of a theme with me at the moment!! This is a "create a card" die by crafters companion, and I'm afraid that once again I just had to have it!!! I have used it to cut and emboss and then sponged some pearlescent inks through the stencil to create this effect. Then I added the memory box die across the bottom.
